| Ongoing Events The Kickback Every FRIDAY night at 5:30PM at the Pearson Community Center Youth ETERNAL hosts a community Teen Forum where teens and young adults from the neighborhood and surrounding schools get together and discuss issues from "hateration" to drama, goals, respect, and a growing host of other topics that are engaging and challenging. This forum is open to the public and has the potential to engage long term in teens that need a mentor. 2010 Upcoming Events Friday, August 27, 2010, Youth Eternal Crusade, “ And Yet, I Rise "Victory" Crusade Location: East Vegas Christian Center 6450 Stewart Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89110 This is our third annual crusade informing teenagers/young adults of Youth E.T.E.R.N.A.L. and its services, in addition to offering available community resources and programs. “And Yet… I Rise, "Victory" Crusade sends the message that no matter what the current circumstances may be, they shall rise above it! As the needs of our teenagers/young adults increase, they need to know that there is a community of people working together through various programs and services solely for them. Together, with you, we will rally our teenagers/young adults once again to rise above their circumstances, the peer drama, the gangs and all that threatens to destroy their generation and prevent them from reaching their destiny. Carey Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106 This is a two-in-one seminar covering Financial Literacy and Employment. The Seminar is designed to inform, educate, and empower youth, ages 14-24, on how to build solid money management and employment skills and techniques. The seminar encourages interactive learning through presentation, hands on activities, and critical thinking exercises. This specific seminar will cover interviewing techniques and basic money management. |
